1:400 Diecast: American Airlines Boeing 777-300ER N735AT "Flagship" Centennial Livery (NG Models NG73094)

N735AT, MSN 32439 (Line Number 1371), first flew on 28 January 2016 and entered service as a Boeing 777-323ER with American Airlines. In October 2025, American selected N735AT as the single aircraft to carry a centennial "Flagship" livery — a deliberate tribute to the polished aluminum scheme and Douglas DC-3-inspired branding the airline flew for decades before switching to the current Eagle livery. N735AT regularly operates American's flagship long-haul routes, including transatlantic services.

Livery & Visual Details

The model reproduces the centennial Flagship scheme: the entire fuselage, wings, stabilizers, and engine nacelles are shiny polished metallic silver, replicating the bare-aluminum finish of American's historic fleet. A red-and-dark-navy cheatline runs below the windows from nose to tail. "AMERICAN AIRLINES" in dark navy serif font angles upward along the forward window line. "AMERICAN" appears again above the wing root, and "Flagship" in italicized navy script graces the mid-fuselage — a designation historically reserved for American's premier services and aircraft. The AA Eagle emblem in red, white, and blue appears forward and mid-fuselage. The vertical stabilizer carries "N735AT" in black at top, with the AA logo near its base. Red stripe accents the engine intake lips. The 777-300ER wing features classic non-winglet raked tips with red stripe markings.

Model Craft & Collectibility

NG73094 documents a one-off livery applied to a single 777-300ER for American's centennial year. The polished silver finish requires precise metallic paint reproduction at 1:400 — a demanding surface for diecast. As the only aircraft in American's current fleet wearing the Flagship retro scheme, N735AT is a guaranteed single-release subject with no follow-on variant at this registration.
