1:200 Diecast: American Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 N306RC (NG Models NG92017)

N306RC carries MSN 44465 and was delivered to American Airlines on December 4, 2017. The aircraft flew in revenue service for less than 15 months before the global 737 MAX grounding took effect in March 2019, placing N306RC in storage at Tulsa (TUL) from April 16, 2019. After the FAA rescinded the grounding order, the aircraft returned to service on February 15, 2021. As of 2026 it remains one of the earlier-delivered examples in American's 280+ MAX 8 fleet.

The model wears American Airlines' current "Flag Carrier" livery: a polished bare-metal fuselage treatment with thin red and blue cheatlines along the window band. "American" in large dark-grey serif font with the stylized eagle-head "A" logo appears on the forward fuselage. The tail fin features the Flight Symbol — alternating red and blue stripes evoking the American flag in motion. AT winglets (the split-tip design unique to Boeing 737 MAX) are rendered in light grey. Both CFM LEAP-1B engine nacelles are white with no chevron texture at this scale. Landing gear is deployed. The model measures approximately 19.8 cm × 18.0 cm at 1:200 scale.

NG92017 is the standard production release for the American Airlines 737 MAX 8 in the 2013-era polished-metal livery. The AT winglet mold correctly represents the MAX's distinctive split-tip architecture, distinguishing it clearly from the blended winglets fitted to American's earlier 737-800 fleet. N306RC's documented grounding history makes this a useful marker for collectors tracking the MAX program's 2019–2021 suspension.
