B-5159 is a Boeing 737-800 carrying MSN 35044 (line number 2018), originally delivered to Xiamen Airlines as a passenger aircraft and operating under the same B-5159 registration throughout its service life. In August 2023, Xiamen Airlines transferred the airframe to Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co. (GAMECO) for Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) modification. The conversion was completed in December 2023, and B-5159 was formally delivered to Air Road Cargo (纵横货运航空) on 29 December 2023. The BCF conversion removes passenger cabin fittings and installs a large main-deck cargo door on the forward port fuselage. Power comes from CFM56-7 turbofans retained from the passenger configuration.

Livery & Visual Details

Fuselage is silver-grey. A broad light-blue arc sweeps from the tail along the lower fuselage forward; above it runs a narrower yellow arc. The vertical stabilizer is light blue on the upper half, with a yellow angled graphic at the base connecting to the fuselage arcs. "ARC" appears in large light-blue text on the nose below the cockpit, followed by "AIR ROAD CARGO" in smaller light-blue text. Registration "B-5159" is visible in dark text near the aft fuselage. No passenger cabin windows — only the flight-deck windows at the nose confirm this as a dedicated freighter. Blended winglets on both wingtips in grey. CFM56-7 nacelles in white.
