1:240 Diecast: Air China COMAC C919-100ER B-919X "Golden Fuselage Special Livery" (NG Models CCA003)
Registration B-919X carries MSN 00019 — the first C919 ever delivered to Air China. COMAC transferred the aircraft from Shanghai Pudong Final Assembly Line (ZSPD/PVG) to Beijing Capital International Airport on 28 August 2024, making B-919X the flag carrier's inaugural example of China's home-built narrowbody. The aircraft entered commercial passenger service on routes out of Beijing shortly after delivery. Air China holds an order for 105 C919s; B-919X is the first of that commitment. Test registration B-002M was carried prior to delivery. The sub-type is the C919-100ER, the extended-range variant of the baseline design.
Livery & Visual Detail
This release captures the factory-applied golden fuselage special livery fitted to B-919X at delivery, not the standard Air China white scheme. The upper two-thirds of the fuselage runs a highly reflective metallic gold from nose to tail. A bold dark-blue horizontal stripe separates the gold upper section from the light grey lower fuselage, with a thinner gold accent stripe directly above the blue band. The white vertical stabilizer carries the red Air China phoenix logo. Wings and horizontal stabilizers are rendered in light silver-grey.
Fuselage text: "AIR CHINA" in blue uppercase sits below the cockpit windows on the forward fuselage; the Chinese characters reading "Zhongguo Guoji Hangkong Gongsi" (Air China's full Chinese corporate name) appear in dark blue behind it along the upper window line. Registration "B-919X" is printed in dark blue on the rear fuselage above the tail and also on the tail base. "COMAC C919" appears in small dark text on the lower rear fuselage. A small red Chinese national flag decal is positioned on the right forward fuselage just aft of the cockpit. The underside of the left wing carries "AIR CHINA" in white. Wing top surfaces display "AIR CHINA" near the root.
Wingtip configuration: raked swept-back wingtip extensions finished in silver-grey, with a red navigation light painted on the leading-edge tip — accurate to the C919's actual wingtip geometry. Engine nacelles are white; B-919X is powered by two CFM International LEAP-1C turbofans, the sole Western engine option available for the C919 program. The model is displayed on a silver metal stand in gear-up flight configuration.
