B-919X (MSN 00019) was delivered to Air China on August 29, 2024, ferrying from Shanghai Pudong (PVG) to Beijing Capital (PEK) — making it Air China's first Comac C919 and the 19th C919 delivered to any airline worldwide. It entered revenue service on September 10, 2024. The C919 is a 168-passenger narrowbody powered by CFM International LEAP-1C engines, designed as a direct competitor to the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX in the 150–190-seat segment. B-919X carries the ICAO hex code 78217F.

Livery & Visual Details

Air China's standard white fuselage with the airline's dark blue cheatline running from the forward window row to the tail. "AIR CHINA" appears in English on the forward fuselage, with the Chinese characters "中国国际航空公司" (Zhōngguó Guójì Hángkōng Gōngsī) immediately alongside. The vertical stabilizer is white, carrying Air China's red phoenix-VIP logo. A small Chinese national flag decal sits just aft of the cockpit. Engine nacelles are white with grey exhaust cones; no chevrons. The wingtips feature blended sharklets. Landing gear is retracted in the flight-configuration display.

NG29003 renders the C919 at the larger 1:100 scale, providing a showcase-sized model of China's first domestically produced narrowbody in airline service. Diecast metal construction. The 1:100 scale makes this the dominant display piece in any C919 collection and among the earliest mass-market diecast releases of the type.
