B-2469 is a Boeing 747-4J6M (MSN 28756, Line 1175), the combi variant of the 747-400 capable of carrying both passengers and freight on the main deck simultaneously. It was delivered to Air China in September 1998 and served the carrier for fifteen years before retirement and storage in December 2013, later ferried to Victorville, California for disposal. The 747-400M combi variant is among the rarest sub-types of the 747-400 family.

Livery & Visual Details

The model replicates Air China's classic livery: all-white fuselage with a broad blue cheatline along the window band and a finer blue stripe below. "AIR CHINA" appears in dark blue on the forward upper fuselage alongside Chinese characters reading the airline's formal name. The red-and-blue phoenix tail logo is rendered on the white vertical stabilizer. A small Chinese national flag is visible forward of the cockpit windows. Engine nacelles are metallic grey. Classic straight wingtips — the 747-400M does not carry winglets. Rolling gear deployed.
