1:400 Diecast: COMAC C909 "House Livery / Demonstrator" B-099A (NG Models NG87123)
The COMAC C909 — commercially renamed from the ARJ21-700 program at the November 2024 Zhuhai Airshow — seats between 78 and 97 passengers and is powered by two GE CF34-10A turbofans. It became the first wholly China-manufactured regional jet to enter scheduled commercial service, with Chengdu Airlines operating the first revenue flight on 28 June 2016. The demonstrator airframe B-099A (MSN 10156) carried the new "C909" identity markings first publicly displayed at the 2024 Airshow, serving as COMAC's brand ambassador for the redesignated program.
Livery & Visual Detail
The COMAC house/demonstrator livery divides the fuselage sharply: forward half is white, rear half transitions into a deep navy-blue sweep that covers the upper aft fuselage and vertical stabilizer. A lighter blue accent stripe runs within the dark zone on the tail root. "COMAC" appears in bold red capitals on the forward fuselage, immediately followed by "中国商飞" in matching red; a green-and-blue stylised logo sits adjacent. "C909" is printed in red below the main COMAC text. On the vertical stabilizer, "中国商飞" runs vertically in red on the white upper portion. No commercial airline registration or window rows disrupt the clean factory demonstrator appearance. Blended wingtip devices are integrated into the wing structure. Rear-mounted twin CF34 nacelles are white with black intakes.
