1:400 Diecast: Airbus Transport International A330-743L Beluga XL F-GXLN "#5" (NG Models NG60015)

F-GXLN (MSN 2027) is the fifth Beluga XL built by Airbus, with its first flight on 21 July 2022 and delivery to Airbus Transport International on 26 September 2022. The A330-743L is operated exclusively by Airbus to transport oversized aircraft sub-assemblies—wings, fuselage sections, and empennages—between Airbus production sites across Europe. Fleet number "5" is prominently marked on the nose bulge and on the horizontal stabilizer tip. F-GXLN expanded the Beluga XL fleet to five, enabling Airbus to accelerate narrowbody production throughput.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model captures the Beluga XL's unmistakable whale-shaped enlarged upper fuselage. The fuselage is glossy white; "AIRBUS BELUGA" text is rendered in sky blue on the forward starboard side, with abstract light-grey graphics extending across the upper fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is deep navy blue, overlaid with concentric arc patterns in lighter blue and white—the Beluga XL signature tail design. Raked wingtips with dark blue-tipped ends. Both engine nacelles are white with metallic-silver fan intake lips. Fleet number "5" is visible in navy blue on the nose. Landing gear fully deployed.

Model Craft & Collectibility

NG Models' dedicated A330-743L tooling replicates the Beluga XL's distinctive super-wide cargo hold fuselage, a feature no A330-200 mould can approximate. At 15.78 cm × 15.08 cm, the near-square wingspan-to-length ratio reflects the real aircraft's proportions accurately. NG60015 is the designated release for the fifth-fleet Beluga XL, making it a key piece for Airbus production infrastructure collectors.
