1:200 Diecast: United Airlines Boeing 777-200 N777UA "Battleship Gray" (JC Wings XX20156)
N777UA holds a specific place in commercial aviation history: MSN 26916, Line Number 7, it became the first Boeing 777 delivered to United Airlines on May 15, 1995, following a maiden flight on April 25 that year. Named "Rochelle Jean," it entered service as United began its pioneering 777 operations. In late 2025, after 30 years of commercial service, N777UA flew its final revenue flight and entered storage at Victorville.
Livery & Visual Details
JC Wings XX20156 captures the "Battleship Gray" scheme United wore from 1993 to 2004: dark charcoal upper fuselage, deep navy lower fuselage, divided by a thin red accent stripe. Across the mid-cabin, "BOEING 777" in white block lettering commemorates the aircraft's role in the program. "UNITED AIRLINES" appears in white on the forward fuselage. The tail features the United Globe in red and blue. Clean wingtips with no winglet device, smooth circular engine nacelles typical of PW4000-series powerplants.
Model Craft & Collectability
JC Wings XX20156 at 1:200 scale renders the 777-200's wide 60-metre wingspan at 30.45 cm. Diecast alloy body. As the registration associated with the first 777 ever delivered and the "BOEING 777" markings on both the model and the real aircraft, this is a notable piece for Boeing and United collectors.
