1:400 Diecast: Sunwing Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 C-FMXA (JC Wings LH4314)
C-FMXA, MSN 43297 (Line Number 6938), was Sunwing Airlines' very first Boeing 737 MAX 8 — the carrier's inaugural aircraft of the type, leased from Air Lease Corporation and ferried from Boeing Field (BFI) to Toronto Pearson on 25 May 2018. The aircraft entered scheduled service the following day, marking Sunwing's step into the MAX generation. It carries the CFM LEAP-1B engine pair. Sunwing Airlines ceased operations in 2025.
Livery & Visual Details
The fuselage is white, with "sunwing" in lowercase orange lettering accompanied by the airline's sun starburst logo positioned below the cabin window line. The vertical stabilizer is solid orange with the white "sunwing" wordmark running along its leading edge. A bold orange cheatline runs along the lower rear fuselage. The engine nacelles are fully painted orange, each bearing the white starburst logo. Advanced Technology winglets — the signature split-scimitar style of the 737 MAX series — are finished in matching orange. A Canadian flag decal sits below the cockpit on the port side.
