9V-MBL (MSN 44256, LN 7736) first flew on 30 September 2019 and was delivered to Singapore Airlines shortly after. The aircraft carries the Star Alliance special livery — one of only a small number of Singapore Airlines aircraft ever repainted away from the carrier's standard blue-and-gold scheme. Singapore Airlines operates the 737 MAX 8 on shorter Southeast Asian trunk routes from Changi, with 9V-MBL photographed in active service as recently as March 2026 at Bali (DPS).

Livery & Visual Detail

The model depicts the all-white Star Alliance scheme: fuselage is clean white from nose to tail, replacing the airline's usual gold-and-blue stripe.
