Registration 9V-SMF carries MSN 54, the 54th Airbus A350 built and the aircraft selected to bear the milestone "10,000th Airbus Aircraft" designation at its October 2014 roll-out ceremony in Toulouse. Singapore Airlines took delivery on 15 October 2016, the airline serving as launch customer for the A350-900. 9V-SMF entered active long-haul service immediately after delivery. The aircraft remains in the Singapore Airlines fleet in this special livery.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white with "SINGAPORE AIRLINES" titles in black forward of the wing. A dark blue cheatline runs along the lower fuselage, transitioning into a bold gold/bronze gradient that covers the lower aft section. The vertical stabilizer is dark blue with the gold Silver Kris logo. A gold "10,000™ AIRBUS AIRCRAFT" inscription appears in large text on the aft fuselage with a stylized gold swoosh. The Singapore flag is visible near the nose. Registration 9V-SMF is printed in black beneath the special livery text. The model features the A350's signature blended composite wingtips—swept upward and aft as an integral part of the wing structure. Rolls-Royce Trent XWB nacelles are finished in light grey; the fan intakes show silver-tone blades. No chevron nozzles. Multiple blade antennas on the dorsal fuselage. Landing gear extended (rolling gear configuration).

This release documents one of the most photographed special liveries in modern aviation—the gold milestone scheme was applied exclusively to 9V-SMF and has not been replicated on any other airframe. Pre-assembled and pre-painted; no construction required.
