1:400 Diecast: Republic of Korea Air Force Boeing E-737 Peace Eye 65-328 (JC Wings XX40082)

65-328 is one of four Boeing E-737 Peace Eye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft operated by the Republic of Korea Air Force. Boeing delivered the fourth and final Peace Eye to ROKAF on 24 October 2012 at Gimhae Air Base under the "EX" programme, which was contracted in November 2006. Built on the Boeing 737-700 platform, the aircraft carries the Multi-role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) radar in the large canoe-shaped dorsal fairing — a defining feature reproduced in this model's tooling.

Livery & Visual Detail

The entire airframe wears an overall light operational grey scheme. Korean script reading "대한민국 공군" (Republic of Korea Air Force) appears in black on the forward fuselage; the Korean national Taegeuk roundel in red and blue is visible mid-fuselage. "ROKAF" and the serial "2328" appear near the base of the vertical stabilizer. The prominent dorsal MESA radar fairing spans the full fuselage spine. Angular winglets at the wingtips. CFM56-series nacelles with flattened underside profile, accurate to the 737 Next Generation platform. Multiple blade antennas and dome sensors visible along the fuselage and tail.

JC Wings XX40082 is one of very few 1:400 releases of the ROKAF E-737 Peace Eye. The specialised AEW&C mould — including the canoe dorsal fairing, rooftop sensors, and spine antennas — makes this a niche item in any military aviation collection.
