B-20D1 is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner delivered to Juneyao Air (吉祥航空) on 29 August 2019, carrying MSN 64316 (line number 895). The aircraft flew its delivery positioning flight from Paine Field (PAE) to Shanghai Pudong (PVG) on 30 August, entering Juneyao's widebody fleet in what was then a rapid expansion phase. Power comes from two General Electric GEnx-1B74/75 turbofans. B-20D1 gained further attention in August 2025 when a ground vehicle collision at Helsinki Airport (HEL) caused wing damage — a rare documented incident for this airframe. JC Wings XX4224 preserves B-20D1's original delivery livery.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white, overlaid with a sweeping multi-colour floral and auspicious-cloud motif covering the mid-to-aft section in vivid pink, orange, and gold. Chinese characters reading "吉祥航空" and the English title "JUNEYAO AIR" appear in deep crimson on the forward fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is solid crimson, carrying a large circular gold Juneyao phoenix emblem. Engine nacelles are painted in matching crimson with a gold logo badge on each cowl. Wingtips are Raked Tips, characteristic of the 787 platform. Rolling gear deployed. Engine exhaust nozzles are standard circular without chevron serrations.
