JA703J, MSN 32891 line number 427, is a Boeing 777-246ER delivered to Japan Airlines in February 2003, powered by GE90-94B engines. The aircraft served JAL for over two decades on long-haul international routes from Tokyo Haneda and Narita. JA703J carried a UNICEF cooperation emblem during part of its service life. It became the last surviving 777-200ER in the JAL fleet, with scheduled service ending on November 12, 2023 — the final flight in a retirement farewell ceremony that drew enthusiasts across Japan.

Livery & Visual Detail

The fuselage is clean white throughout. "JAPAN AIRLINES" is printed in black across the upper forward fuselage.
