A-001 is Boeing 737-8U3(WL) BBJ2 MSN 41706, the primary presidential transport of the Republic of Indonesia, operated by the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) under the callsign "Indonesia One." The aircraft has served as the head-of-state transport since 2014, flying Indonesian presidents on state visits and official missions across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The BBJ2 (Boeing Business Jet 2) variant is based on the stretched 737-800 fuselage combined with the reinforced structure and extended-range fuel tanks of the original BBJ, giving it a significantly longer range than a standard 737-800 while retaining a spacious VIP-configured interior.

Livery & Visual Details

The livery is the distinctive Indonesian presidential scheme: the upper fuselage is medium blue, separated from the white lower fuselage by a thin red pinstripe outlined in white. "REPUBLIK INDONESIA" in bold white sans-serif capitals dominates the upper blue section above the windows. The Garuda Pancasila national emblem in gold and red appears on the forward blue fuselage behind the cockpit windows. Registration A-001 is printed in black on the lower white fuselage towards the rear. The vertical stabilizer is blue with the Indonesian national flag (red over white horizontal bars) positioned on the fin. Blended winglets are grey-silver with a red-and-dark inner stripe accent. Engine nacelles are white with dark intake lips.
