PK-GPZ is a Garuda Indonesia Airbus A330-343 (MSN 1698) delivered on 29 January 2016, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 772B-60 engines. In February 2023, Garuda painted PK-GPZ in the special "Kembara Angkasa" (Sky Wanderer) livery to commemorate the airline's 74th anniversary. The design, built around vibrant batik-inspired motifs in blues, teals, and reds flowing from mid-fuselage to the tail, became one of the most photographed Garuda liveries of the decade, with the aircraft appearing at Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Seoul Incheon, and other Garuda hub ports in the special scheme.

Livery & Visual Details

White base fuselage with an intricate special livery pattern covering the lower fuselage from the mid-section to the tail: fluid blues, teals, and red splashes in stylized batik/wave motifs of increasing density toward the tail. The vertical stabilizer carries the standard Garuda dark blue upper section with the white Garuda bird logo, blending into the special livery pattern on the lower fin. "Garuda Indonesia" appears in dark text on the upper-mid fuselage. The forward fuselage features commemorative "74" in bold red and "Dirgahayu Republik Indonesia" text. Registration PK-GPZ in black on the lower rear fuselage. An Indonesian flag decal is present near the cockpit. Sharklets at wingtips in light grey with a blue tip. Engine nacelles white with silver intake lips and exhaust cones. The nose cone carries a stylized blue wave accent.
