1:200 Diecast: Frontier Airlines Boeing 737-291 N7377F "Polished" (JC Wings XX20506)

N7377F carries MSN 20365 (line number 220) and was delivered new to Frontier Airlines in December 1969. The aircraft served Frontier's western US network for over sixteen years before being sold to Continental Airlines in October 1986, departing still wearing Frontier's colors when photographed in the early 1970s. Frontier Airlines (the original 1950–1986 carrier, distinct from the current Frontier brand) operated the 737-200 across its hub in Denver, connecting mountain states and Midwest cities before the airline folded in August 1986 following bankruptcy. N7377F is identified on the model as a 737-291, the customer variant code for Frontier's 737-200 deliveries.

Livery & Visual Details

JC Wings renders this model in Frontier's "Polished" scheme: a predominantly white upper fuselage over a polished bare-metal-effect silver-grey lower section, separated by a prominent teal/aqua cheatline bordered immediately above and below by thin gold stripes. "FRONTIER" appears in large dark blue capital letters on the forward upper fuselage. The registration "N7377F" is printed in dark blue aft of the wing line. The white vertical stabilizer carries a stylized gold "F" emblem with the "FRONTIER" text integrated within it. Classic flat wingtips — no winglets, consistent with all early 737-200 production aircraft. The two JT8D engines have cylindrical nacelles in silver-grey, characteristic of the 737-200's under-wing placement with minimal ground clearance.

Model Craft & Collectibility

JC Wings item XX20506 captures a pre-deregulation western US carrier livery that has largely disappeared from diecast coverage. The original Frontier Airlines 737-200 "Polished" scheme is a period-accurate representation of late-1960s and 1970s US regional aviation. Diecast metal construction with display stand included.
