A6-EHJ (MSN 933) was delivered to Etihad Airways on 11 December 2008 — and uniquely, it flew in Formula 1-themed livery from its very first day in service. The aircraft never carried Etihad's standard white-and-gold scheme during its nine years with the airline, making it one of the most visually singular jets in the Etihad fleet. In February 2018 A6-EHJ was noted as the first of a batch of ten A340s acquired by European Aviation, ferried from storage. MSN 933 later re-registered as EC-NFP with Iberia-aligned lessors and subsequently as EP-MMU with Mahan Air from November 2019.

Livery & Visual Detail

The fuselage runs a three-stage gradient: white nose to a coral/red mid-body to deep black at the tail. "FORMULA 1" in large white motorsport-style letters dominates the mid-to-rear fuselage. The vertical stabilizer carries a black-and-white chequered flag pattern — the racing finish signal — with the Etihad falcon crest in white at the top and a small red apex. Engine nacelles are black with a red intake ring and small racing insignia. "ETIHAD" and its Arabic counterpart appear in white on the forward red fuselage. "ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2016" text is visible below, confirming the race-year edition captured by this model. Registration A6-EHJ in white on the dark rear fuselage. Four CFM CFM56-5C engines, classic A340 winglets (upswept, grey).
