1:400 Diecast: Cebu Pacific Cargo ATR 72-500F RP-C7253 (JC Wings XX40067)
RP-C7253 is ATR 72-212A MSN 828, first flown 20 October 2008 under test registration F-WWEV. The aircraft originally served Cebu Pacific in passenger configuration before undergoing conversion to freighter (72-212AF) in 2019–2020 — making it one of the first two ATR cargo conversions operated under the Cebu Pacific Cargo banner on behalf of Cebgo. The type carried cargo between Philippine domestic points until the aircraft went into storage in May 2023.
Livery & Visual Details
The livery is split white upper and bright yellow lower, a clean division from nose to tail that mirrors Cebu Pacific's brand identity. "cebu pacific" in sky-blue sans-serif appears on the nose, with "cargo" in a larger, bolder dark-blue font below it. A small Philippine national flag is positioned near the nose. The vertical stabilizer is solid yellow, displaying a stylized turquoise-and-blue eagle head facing forward. The aircraft registration RP-C7253 is printed in black on the aft fuselage above the tail graphic. Both turboprop nacelles are white with four-bladed propellers; blade tips are yellow. Landing gear is extended.
Model Craft & Collectibility
JC Wings cast XX40067 in diecast metal at 1:400 scale. Turboprop freighter conversions in regional Asian airline liveries are a relatively thin slice of the 1:400 market. RP-C7253 as MSN 828 is a specifically documented Philippine cargo conversion — for collectors tracking Southeast Asian narrow-body and turboprop operators, this is a verified example.
