Registration 808 (construction number 10309) was built as an Antonov An-26 and operated by the People's Liberation Army Air Force before transitioning to CAAC — China's Civil Aviation Administration, which prior to 1988 served simultaneously as China's regulatory body and sole national airline. By October 2010 the aircraft was preserved and placed on permanent outdoor display at the China Aviation Museum (Datangshan, Beijing), where it remains today. This model captures the aircraft in its CAAC operational colours, a livery belonging to the pre-reform era when CAAC operated everything from jet transports to Soviet-built turboprops.

Registration 808 in blue on the rear fuselage above the cheatline. The vertical stabilizer carries the Five-Star Red Flag of the People's Republic of China. High-wing (parasol) configuration with two Ivchenko AI-24 turboprop engines, each driving a four-blade propeller with blue blades and yellow tips. Anti-glare black panel on the nose forward of the cockpit.
