HL7428 is a Boeing 747-48E carrying MSN 28552 (line number 1160), delivered to Asiana Airlines on 18 June 1999. The aircraft operated continuously as the carrier's last remaining passenger 747-400 and made its final commercial flight on 25 March 2024 — the last passenger Boeing 747-400 operating in South Korea. This JC Wings model is the dedicated "Last Flight" commemorative release, capturing HL7428 in its final operational configuration. Powered by four General Electric CF6-80C2B1F engines, the 747-48E was configured for long-haul passenger service on routes including Seoul to Los Angeles and Tokyo Narita.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model replicates Asiana Airlines' livery: white fuselage with the airline's "Speedmark" tail design combining deep red-burgundy, orange-gold, and deep blue-purple sweeping bands. "ASIANA AIRLINES" appears in bold black on the forward fuselage below the cockpit windows. The UNICEF Aircraft logo is visible on the lower forward fuselage — a marking specific to HL7428 during its later years. The South Korean Taegeukgi flag is displayed on the vertical stabilizer.
