1:200 Diecast: Air Canada Cargo Boeing 767-300BCF C-FPCA Interactive Series (JC Wings XX20233C)

C-FPCA is Boeing 767-375(ER) MSN 24306 (line number 258), originally delivered to Canadian Airlines on 18 April 1989. When Canadian Airlines ceased operations in March 2001, the aircraft transferred to Air Canada, which operated it as a passenger widebody until it was stored in May 2020. Air Canada then contracted Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to convert C-FPCA under the Boeing Converted Freighter programme; the aircraft was redelivered as a dedicated B767-300ER(BDSF) freighter on 8 December 2021—Air Canada's first converted 767 freighter and the first aircraft in what would become Air Canada Cargo's dedicated freighter fleet.

Livery & Visual Details

The model wears Air Canada's post-2017 livery: a powder blue upper fuselage and engine nacelles, with light grey-silver undersides. "AIR CANADA" in bold red sans-serif capitals occupies the forward upper fuselage. The red maple leaf Air Canada roundel appears below the cockpit. The vertical stabilizer is powder blue with a subtle geometric patterned background and a large red maple leaf centred on the fin. Registration C-FPCA appears in small black text on the lower rear fuselage. The wings carry no winglets—standard for the 767-300ER base airframe. The Interactive Series main deck cargo door is depicted in the open position, revealing the grey cargo hold interior.

Model Craftsmanship & Collectibility

JC Wings produced XX20233C in their 1:200 Interactive Series, which includes a functional main deck cargo door that opens and closes—the defining feature of this release. The model comes with a metal display stand and rolling gear. The Interactive Series 767 BCF represents Air Canada's pivot toward dedicated freighter operations, a significant fleet development in Canadian aviation.
