D-AECD is an Embraer ERJ-190-100LR carrying MSN 19000337. The airframe was delivered to Lufthansa CityLine on 22 February 2010 and entered service on the Lufthansa Regional network, linking secondary European cities to Frankfurt and Munich under the Lufthansa brand. Powered by two GE CF34-10E turbofan engines, the ERJ-190LR variant offers extended range for thinner routes that larger narrowbodies cannot operate economically. The aircraft later transferred to Air Dolomiti, reregistered as I-JENF, after CityLine restructured its ERJ-190 fleet.
