A6-LRE is a Boeing 777-237LR carrying MSN 36304 (Line Number 698). The airframe first flew on 20 February 2008 and was initially delivered to Air India as VT-ALE. It transferred to Etihad Airways in April 2014, receiving registration A6-LRE. In 2015, Etihad dressed this specific 777-200LR in a promotional livery marking the world premiere of Fast & Furious 7, unveiled at Los Angeles. The aircraft subsequently operated the Abu Dhabi–LAX ultra-long-range sector where the campaign livery attracted widespread photography. The entire Etihad 777-200LR fleet was later retired and the aircraft scrapped, making livery-specific diecast releases the primary surviving record of these schemes.

The fuselage carries Etihad's standard sand-white base with the gold "ETIHAD" wordmark in large uppercase letters across the mid-fuselage, paired with the Arabic text "الاتحاد" in matching gold. The tail shows the UAE Presidential crest shield against Etihad's signature flag motif. Wing tips are classic raked — the 777-200LR predates split-scimitar adoption.
