HZ-AI3 is a Boeing 747-87UF (MSN 37562, Line No. 1429) delivered to Saudi Arabian Airlines on 25 March 2013 — the first of two 747-8 freighters ordered by Saudia Cargo. Built specifically for the cargo variant, the 747-8F introduced the stretched upper deck and GEnx-2B67 engines to the iconic Queen of the Skies silhouette. HZ-AI3 was stored in January 2020 and subsequently transferred through several operators, including Atlas Air and Hongyuan Group, eventually registered OE-LFC.

Livery & Visual Details

The model wears the Saudia Cargo livery as carried during the aircraft's active Saudi service. Upper fuselage is a cream/light beige tone, separated from the white lower belly by a thin dark-blue cheatline. The deep-blue vertical stabilizer carries the Saudi national emblem — palm tree above crossed swords — rendered in gold. Fuselage lettering reads "السعودية" in Arabic followed by "SAUDIA" and "CARGO" in large dark-blue Roman capitals. A small Saudi flag device appears near the nose. The four GEnx-2B67 engine nacelles are white with a small gold roundel on each cowling. Wingtips show classic raked tips without vertical extensions, characteristic of the 747-8 series.
