HL8515 is a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner delivered to Korean Air on 19 July 2024, carrying MSN 66878 (line number LN-1152). First flight took place on 23 April 2024 from Boeing's North Charleston facility. HL8515 entered service as Korean Air's first 787-10 and simultaneously debuted the airline's refreshed livery, unveiled publicly on this specific airframe. Korean Air operates 787-10s on long-haul international routes from Seoul Incheon International Airport.

Livery & Visual Details

The model carries Korean Air's refreshed livery with a light blue fuselage. "KOREAN AIR" appears in dark blue on the forward fuselage above the window line, with the Taegeuk motif integrated into the "O." Raked wingtips — the defining tip device of the 787 family — extend from both wing ends. Engine exhaust nozzles show GEnx chevron serrations at the nacelle trailing edges. The Taegeuk logo also appears on each engine spinner. A South Korean flag is positioned on the upper tail. "DREAMLINER" text in dark grey runs along the lower rear fuselage.

Hogan Wings issued this as HG5200GR in 1:200 scale. ABS construction with tampo printing. The 787-10 stretches to 68.3 metres on the real aircraft; at 1:200 the model measures approximately 34 cm in length and 30 cm wingspan — a substantial display piece. HL8515's significance as both Korean Air's first 787-10 and the debut airframe for the new livery adds historical relevance to this registration.
