1:200 ABS Model: Korean Air Airbus A321neo HL8505 (Hogan HG5300GR)

HL8505, MSN 10977 (type A321-272NX), was delivered to Korean Air on 27 October 2022, ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder (XFW) via Tashkent to Seoul Gimpo. It entered revenue service on 7 November 2022, making it Korean Air's first Airbus A321neo — the lead aircraft of an order for 30 A321-200NX variants powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1130G geared turbofan engines. The aircraft briefly carried a "World EXPO 2030 Busan, Korea" promotional sticker from July to November 2023.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model depicts Korean Air's current "Celestial Blue" livery: the entire upper fuselage, nose, and vertical stabilizer are rendered in the carrier's signature sky blue. A crisp white dividing stripe separates the blue upper section from the light grey lower fuselage. "KOREAN AIR" in dark blue capital letters with the Taegeuk-inspired logo to its left appears on the forward-to-mid fuselage. The large Taegeuk swirl with stylised wings fills the tail fin. Airbus Sharklets at the wingtips, painted grey. Engine pylons and nacelles are light grey; PW1130G GTF nacelles feature the large-diameter intake characteristic of geared turbofan engines. "HL8505" registration appears on the aft fuselage. "AIRBUS A321neo" type designation printed on the lower forward fuselage.
