VT-ANU (MSN 36292) entered the Air India fleet in February 2015, joining the carrier's 787-8 Dreamliner expansion. The airframe was subsequently selected to carry Star Alliance special livery — one of only a handful of Air India jets to wear alliance branding — distinguishing it within a fleet that spans long-haul routes between Delhi, London, Melbourne, and Paris. As of this writing, VT-ANU remains active in revenue service.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white. A dominant "STAR ALLIANCE" legend in bold black sans-serif runs across the mid-fuselage. Forward of the wing, "एअर इंडिया" in Devanagari script appears above "AIR INDIA" in Latin characters, accompanied by a small Indian tricolor. The tail is gloss black with the white Star Alliance five-point mark. Engine nacelles carry the Air India Konark Wheel emblem in orange. Wingtips are the characteristic swept raked tips of the 787 family — no winglet devices.

Manufactured by Hogan Wings under item number HG10284GR at 1:200 scale. The model is constructed from high-quality ABS plastic with pre-applied paint and tampo-printed markings. Display stand and deployed undercarriage are included. Hogan's 787-8 tooling accurately captures the composite-construction fuselage barrel profile and the signature raked wingtips of the Dreamliner platform.
