Boeing's "Dream Painting" livery was the factory demonstration scheme applied to the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner prior to airline delivery, used for customer demonstration flights, airshow appearances, and flight test validation. The scheme is unique to Boeing's own demonstrator airframes and has no airline registration — representing the 787 in its pure manufacturer identity before entering any airline's fleet.

Livery & Visual Details

The "Dream Painting" features a metallic silver-grey upper fuselage and wings, with a deep iridescent blue-teal sweep covering the lower fuselage from nose to tail in a sweeping wave form. A thinner aqua accent stripe runs along the upper edge of the blue section, adding depth to the gradient. The vertical stabilizer carries a large white "787" numeral in blue teal. "BOEING" logo with circular emblem is on the lower forward fuselage; "DREAMLINER" is lettered mid-aft. Wingtips are the characteristic continuous-sweep raked design of the 787.
