1:500 Diecast: SunExpress Boeing 737-8MA TC-SPM "Adler im Anflug" Eintracht Frankfurt (Herpa Wings HE538107)

TC-SPM, MSN 40945 (line number 4830), first flew on 3 March 2014 and spent its first decade operating under China Airlines registration B-18655 before passing to SunExpress in May 2023. In November 2023 the airframe was repainted in a full Eintracht Frankfurt special livery—the second SunExpress 737 to receive club colors alongside TC-SPC. The Turkish-German leisure carrier partnered with the Bundesliga club to celebrate a shared fanbase on routes between Germany and Turkey.

Livery & Visual Details

The scheme is one of the most graphic in the SunExpress fleet. The forward fuselage is white, carrying the bicolor "SunExpress" wordmark—"Sun" in red, "Express" in blue—and the circular company logo near the nose. The aft fuselage transitions sharply to gloss black; white block lettering reads "ADLER IM ANFLUG!" (Eagles on Approach), a direct reference to Eintracht Frankfurt's nickname. The full Eintracht Frankfurt crest—red and white eagle on a circular badge—appears on both the black tail and on the forward fuselage near the wing root. A small Turkish flag is visible near the tail. The winglets are Boeing blended style, painted gray to match the wings. Engine nacelles are white with dark inlets.

Herpa Wings item HE538107 captures the black-to-white gradient and the Eintracht Frankfurt badge graphics at 1:500 via multi-color pad printing on the 737-800 mould. The blended winglet profile of the 737NG is faithfully reproduced. A short-run sports-partnership livery on a narrowbody—this is the kind of release that disappears quickly from primary dealers.
