1:200 Diecast: Spanish Air Force Airbus A400M TK.23-14 "50 Aniversario" (Herpa HE573191)

TK.23-14, construction number 128, is the 14th Airbus A400M Atlas delivered to the Fuerza Aérea Española (Spanish Air Force, SPAF). Spain originally ordered 27 A400Ms from Airbus; 14 were allocated for active service, with the fleet progressively growing toward a planned 20 aircraft by 2028. The A400M Atlas is powered by four Europrop TP400-D6 turboprops driving Ratier-Figeac eight-blade scimitar propellers, capable of carrying 37 tonnes over 3,300 km or 20 tonnes over 6,400 km. The "50 Aniversario" tail art commemorates a significant milestone within the Spanish transport aviation community.

Livery & Visual Details

The model is finished in Spanish Air Force tactical grey across the entire airframe — fuselage, wings, and tail surfaces. The fuselage carries a Spanish Air Force roundel (concentric red-yellow-red rings) above the wing root. The vertical stabilizer features a large commemorative graphic: a stylised eagle head in black, white, red, and gold, above the text "50 ANIVERSARIO" in gold lettering. The four Europrop TP400-D6 engine nacelles are black with yellow band accents; the eight-blade scimitar propellers are black with gold-tipped blades. Herpa Wings 1:200 scale metal construction with display stand. Special anniversary markings make this a time-limited scheme; no permanent production livery change was indicated for the fleet.
