UR-82008 is an Antonov AN-124-100M Ruslan operated by Antonov Airlines, carrying MSN 19530501006 (line number 01-06). Built in 1986 and originally registered CCCP-82008, the airframe was delivered to Antonov Airlines in January 1993 following Ukrainian independence. In 2022, amid the war in Ukraine, Antonov named ten of its An-124s after cities that demonstrated extraordinary civilian resistance — UR-82008 was titled "Be Brave Like Okhtyrka," honouring the Sumy Oblast city of Okhtyrka. This livery is not a marketing campaign; it is a direct, flight-operational statement of solidarity from one of the world's largest cargo aircraft on active global charters. There are fewer than 30 flying An-124s in the world.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white over a bold blue-and-yellow stripe running the full length of the lower hull — colours drawn directly from the Ukrainian national flag. The nose section carries "BE BRAVE LIKE OKHTYRKA" in white block letters on blue, with "ANTONOV AIRLINES AN-124-100M" below it. The registration UR-82008 is stencilled mid-fuselage in blue. The vertical stabiliser reads "ANTONOV" in large blue capitals against the same blue-and-yellow stripe. Each of the four D-18T turbofan nacelles features a matching blue-and-yellow accent band at the rear. Wingtips and horizontal stabiliser tips are accented in red. Standard swept wingtips, no winglets — accurate to the AN-124's original design.
