OH-FAH served Finnaviation — the regional subsidiary of Finnair — from August 1995 until the operation transferred to Finnair proper in September 1996. The Saab 340A is powered by two General Electric CT7-9B turboprops, a twin-aisle-free, 33-passenger regional workhorse that defined Nordic feeder routes through the late 1980s and 1990s. Herpa released this 1:200 rendition as item 573245 in late 2024, documenting the aircraft in a one-season Christmas special livery from the mid-1990s Finnaviation era.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white overall. "finnaviation" appears in light blue sans-serif lettering along the mid-fuselage. The vertical stabilizer carries a blue circular Finnaviation emblem. Festive artwork runs the length of both sides: a cartoon sleigh scene featuring Disney-style characters occupies the nose section behind the cockpit windows, connected by a dotted line to a Santa Claus figure — red suit, white beard, waving — positioned just ahead of the tail. The registration OH-FAH is printed in black with a red hyphen on the lower rear fuselage. Wingtips are straight-cut with no winglets, consistent with the unmodified 340A airframe. Four-blade propellers with silver spinners sit on white nacelles under each wing.
