D-ABOL (MSN 29021) was delivered to Condor on 29 April 2000 as part of the airline's 757-300 fleet. Condor was the launch customer for the Boeing 757-300—the stretched variant measuring 54.4 metres in overall length—and together with Continental Airlines and Delta Air Lines formed the three largest operators of the type worldwide. D-ABOL operated under the Condor livery until November 2025, when Condor retired its entire 757-300 fleet in a farewell flight from Frankfurt to Vienna, ending 35 years of 757 operations. This "Island" livery was one of four aircraft repainted in Condor's new stripe scheme before the fleet's final flights.

The "Island" livery wraps the fuselage in bold alternating green and white horizontal stripes from nose to tail—an explicit visual cue to tropical destinations that defined the 757-300's service life.
