N582UW, MSN 6175, first flew on 30 June 2014 (test registration D-AVXW) and was delivered to US Airways on 9 July 2014 before transferring to American Airlines on 8 April 2015 following the merger. In September 2023 the aircraft was repainted in Amarillo with a full recreation of Pacific Southwest Airlines' iconic livery—the orange-stripe PSA color scheme that Pacific Southwest Airlines wore across its California routes before PSA was acquired by USAir in 1988.

The model replicates the PSA Heritage scheme: a light grey fuselage with a three-band diagonal stripe running nose-to-tail—thin dark red/maroon upper, thick vibrant orange middle, and a deeper orange-red lower stripe.
