YL-ABX, MSN 55329, ferried from Montreal (YMX) to Riga (RIX) on 12–13 February 2025 and entered service on 16 February 2025 as airBaltic's 50th Airbus A220-300. The Baltic carrier operates an all-A220-300 fleet—the largest in Europe at the time of this delivery—making every new airframe a milestone. YL-ABX wears the milestone livery chosen by public vote from more than 800 submissions worldwide.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage carries a sweeping narrative mural in deep red and gold spanning the full cabin length: a woman with a traditional flower crown soars at the nose, while interlocking silhouettes of nature and architecture represent Latvia (ladybug symbol), Estonia (swallow), and Lithuania (stork). The three Baltic national flags—Latvian red-white-red, Estonian blue-black-white, and Lithuanian yellow-green-red—are printed in a row at the lower rear fuselage, just forward of the horizontal stabilizer. Engine nacelles are finished in a vivid yellow-green with white "airBaltic" text. The vertical stabilizer is split diagonally: bright yellow above, deep red below. Wingtips are sharklets with yellow-tipped caps.

Herpa Wings HE538268 is a diecast metal 1:500 build with rolling gear. The livery artwork is reproduced across the full fuselage length via pad printing. Released in the Herpa Wings News III cycle (May/June 2025), this model captures airBaltic's most story-rich milestone livery to date. No stand included.
