1:200 Diecast: Air Via Tupolev TU-154M LZ-MIG (Herpa HE573214)

LZ-MIG carries MSN 90A840, manufactured in 1990 and delivered to Air Via in January 1993. Air Via was a Bulgarian charter carrier that operated TU-154M aircraft on leisure routes from Sofia to European holiday destinations through the 1990s. After leaving the Air Via fleet, LZ-MIG was reregistered RA-85013 and continued service with UTair Aviation. The registration "LZ" prefix identifies Bulgaria; the Bulgarian TU-154 fleet represents a narrow collecting niche within Soviet-era Eastern European civil aviation.

Livery & Visual Detail

White fuselage with a bright green stylized "VIA" logo on the forward fuselage flanked by smaller red "via.ed" text. The vertical stabilizer is deep maroon/burgundy with the "VIA" wordmark in white and several white diagonal stripes rising from the base. The wingtip leading and trailing edges carry red painted sections — a subtle but distinctive feature. Three rear-mounted engines: two in pylons flanking the rear fuselage, the third centrally through the tail S-duct, each in white nacelles. Registration LZ-MIG in dark grey below the starboard pylon. No winglets — standard TU-154 swept tip configuration.
