1:400 Diecast: Wideroe Embraer E190-E2 LN-WEA (Geminijets). This aircraft holds a unique place in aviation history—it was the first Embraer E190-E2 ever delivered and the first to enter commercial service. Delivered to Wideroe (Norwegian regional carrier Widerøe) on April 4, 2018, LN-WEA (MSN 19020009) made its delivery flight from São José dos Campos, Brazil to Bergen, Norway via Recife, Las Palmas, and Aberdeen on April 9-12. On April 24, 2018, it operated the world's first E2 commercial flight, WF622 from Bergen to Tromsø, with all 114 seats filled.

Wideroe's first jet: Before the E2, Wideroe operated an all-turboprop fleet of Bombardier Dash 8s across Norway's challenging short-runway network. The E190-E2 marked the airline's entry into jet operations, reducing flight times on key routes like Bergen-Tromsø by 20 minutes compared to the Dash 8 Q400. Configured in a 114-seat single-class layout, it features Recaro seats chosen for lightweight construction and lower operating costs.

The E2 advantage: Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1900G geared turbofan engines, the E190-E2 delivers 17.3% lower fuel consumption than the previous generation E190. It also has the longest maintenance intervals in the single-aisle market—10,000 flight hours between basic checks. With a range of 2,800 nautical miles (5,200 km) and a cruise speed of Mach 0.82, it's ideally suited for Wideroe's new European routes to destinations like Munich, Hamburg, and Billund introduced in summer 2018.

About this model: Geminijets released LN-WEA in 1:400 scale, capturing Wideroe's distinctive green and white livery with the airline's logo on the tail. The model features detailed PW1900G engine fans with their characteristic chevrons and the E190-E2's distinctive raked wingtips. For collectors of regional aircraft, aviation milestones, or Scandinavian carriers, this represents the very first E2 to enter service anywhere in the world.
