A7-BFT (MSN 66338, line number 1628) was delivered to Qatar Airways Cargo on 8 November 2019, entering service as a Boeing 777-FDZ — the freighter designation for the 777-200LRF (Long Range Freighter). The 777-200LRF carries a maximum payload of 103 tonnes over a range exceeding 9,000 km, placing it among the highest-capacity widebody freighters in commercial operation. A7-BFT operates across Qatar Cargo's global network, connecting Doha with cargo hubs in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white. "QATAR" appears in large maroon letters on the forward cabin, with "CARGO" in smaller maroon text below and right. The Arabic logotype "القطرية" in maroon script runs left of the "QATAR" wordmark. Registration "A7-BFT" is stenciled on the rear fuselage near the tail. The tail and engine nacelles carry the maroon Oryx emblem on a white field. No passenger windows — the fuselage runs clean, as built for pure freighter operations. Wingtips are the classic raked tips of the 777 family. Engine nacelles are white with maroon Oryx roundels on the inlets.

Model Craftsmanship & Collector Notes

Gemini Jets produced G2QAC954 in 1:200 scale as part of their Interactive Series. The model features interchangeable main cargo door and lower deck cargo door components — one set in closed configuration, one set in open configuration — allowing the collector to display the aircraft in either ground-loading or in-flight posture. Diecast metal construction with retractable-style undercarriage. This Interactive Series feature is unique to select Gemini Jets releases and adds a display option not available on standard-mold freighter models.
