N779CK is a Boeing 777-300ER(SF) — a passenger-to-freighter conversion — with MSN 32785, line number 540. The airframe began its career as a passenger 777-36NER for Emirates (registered A6-EBI) before being acquired for conversion under AerCap's 777-300ERSF program. Kalitta Air took delivery on 26 September 2025, making N779CK one of the first examples of this newly certified conversion type to enter commercial freight service worldwide. The 777-300ERSF program repurposes retired twin-aisle 777-300ERs into high-capacity freighters, competing directly with new-build 777F capacity without the lead time of fresh production.
