1:200 Diecast: Kalitta Air Boeing 747-400ERF N782CK Interactive Series (GeminiJets G2CKS928)
N782CK is not just another freighter — it is the last Boeing 747-400 ever built. Carrying MSN 37304 and line number 1419, this 747-4HQF(ER) rolled out of Everett in 2009, originally destined for Kuwait's Wataniya Airways as 9K-DAB before the order fell through. It passed through N552BA and N798BA before arriving at Kalitta Air, re-registered N782CK and delivered January 14, 2012. That makes it simultaneously the youngest 747-400 in existence and the final airframe to close a production line that opened in 1989. Four GE CF6-80C2B5F engines; maximum takeoff weight at 412,700 kg.
Livery & Visual Detail
The model carries Kalitta Air's bold freighter livery: white upper fuselage, with a broad red horizontal band running the full length of the lower fuselage, flanked above and below by thinner yellow stripes. The same red-and-yellow scheme sweeps diagonally up the vertical stabilizer, finishing at the fin tip. "KALITTA AIR" appears in large black characters on the upper forward fuselage, followed by the airline's stylized wing emblem. Registration N782CK is printed in black on the aft fuselage. Classic upward-angled winglets carry the red-yellow stripe continuation. Engine nacelles are white; no chevron nozzles. All landing gear is deployed. The Interactive Series feature is the model's signature: both the nose cargo door (upward-hinged above the cockpit) and the main-deck side cargo door are posed open, exposing a gray cargo interior — a display configuration that standard 1:200 releases do not offer.
Model Craftsmanship & Collector Value
GeminiJets G2CKS928 is constructed almost entirely from solid diecast metal, weighing over two pounds at 1:200 scale. Length 35.34 cm. The Interactive Series tooling adds functional opening cargo doors to GeminiJets' established 747 mold. N782CK at 1:200 is one of the largest single models a collector can own in this type, and its status as the last-ever 747-400 built gives the registration a verifiable, permanent place in aviation history.
