1:400 Diecast: Delta Airlines Airbus A330-223 N852NW (Geminijets GJDAL2105)
N852NW is an Airbus A330-223, MSN 614, delivered to Northwest Airlines on 23 August 2004. The aircraft absorbed into Delta Air Lines following the October 2008 Northwest-Delta merger, one of the largest airline consolidations in US aviation history. Delta retained the NW-registered N852NW in its own livery, deploying the A330-200 on transatlantic and transpacific routes where the type's range of approximately 13,400 km suits long-haul operations from Atlanta and other hubs.
Geminijets GJDAL2105 captures the Delta livery as worn post-merger. The upper fuselage is white, while the belly and lower fuselage panels are painted dark blue — a signature Delta contrast that extends to the engine nacelles. "DELTA" is written in dark blue capital letters below the cockpit line, accompanied by the red delta widget logo. The vertical stabilizer is solid dark blue carrying the same bold red widget. Registration N852NW appears on the rear upper fuselage with a small American flag decal. The model correctly depicts blended winglets — the curved upward extensions at each wingtip. Landing gear is deployed on all three gear stations.
