1:400 Diecast: Air France Cargo Boeing 777-200LRF F-GUOC "Open Door Freighter" (GeminiJets GJAFR2148)

F-GUOC is a Boeing 777-F28 (777-200LRF) bearing MSN 32966, line number 752. Delivered to Air France on February 20, 2009, leased from Merx Aviation, the aircraft operates under the Air France Cargo brand. The 777-200LRF is the long-range freighter derivative of the 777-200LR, capable of carrying approximately 100 tonnes of payload across intercontinental sectors. F-GUOC is part of Air France's core widebody freighter fleet.

Livery & Visual Details

The model replicates the Air France Cargo livery: white fuselage, grey wings, white engine nacelles with a dark-blue ring at the intake lip. "AIRFRANCE CARGO" appears in dark blue capitals on both sides of the forward fuselage — "AIRFRANCE" in large letters, "CARGO" in slightly smaller text directly below. The French flag decal sits forward of the cockpit. The vertical stabilizer carries the Air France tricolor stripe motif — diagonal bands of dark blue, white, and red sweeping upward. The main upper-deck cargo door is modeled in the open position, revealing the darkened interior — the defining feature of this release. Raked wingtips are present at the 777-200LRF wingtip configuration. Two large GE90-110B engines are fitted under the wings.

Model Craft & Collectability

GeminiJets item GJAFR2148 is a diecast alloy model at 1:400 scale. Open-door freighter versions require a modified fuselage tool and are produced in lower quantities than standard display variants, making them a distinct sub-category among 777 freight collectors. Air France Cargo operates a finite fleet of 777 freighters, and F-GUOC is a directly traceable, actively flying airframe.
