B-657J is a COMAC C919-100STD operated by China Southern Airlines, MSN 20. It was delivered on 25 October 2024 via a ferry flight PVG–CAN and entered commercial service on 30 October 2024. This makes B-657J China Southern's second C919 delivery, following the first (B-919J, MSN 18) received on 28 August 2024. China Southern is among the three launch operators — alongside China Eastern and Air China — to introduce the C919 to domestic revenue service.

Livery & Visual Details

The model presents China Southern's standard livery adapted for the C919 type. The white fuselage carries a triple-stripe cheatline below the window line: a dominant deep blue band with a gold/yellow stripe and a thin black stripe above it, curving toward the nose. The nose cone shows an italicized red "C919" logo; "CHINA SOUTHERN" in dark blue and Chinese characters for the airline appear above the window line. "COMAC C919" is printed in black between the window line and the cheatline, and on each engine nacelle. The vertical stabilizer is vibrant blue with the red Kapok logo. Blended winglets have grey bodies with blue tips. Registration B-657J appears in multiple positions including the fin leading edge.
