B-5688 is a Boeing 737-85C(WL) in the Xiamen Airlines fleet, MSN 41792, delivered in December 2017. The aircraft carries a special livery commemorating Xiamen Airlines' milestone of operating 100 Boeing aircraft — the "100" graphic on the forward fuselage was applied to a number of fleet aircraft to mark the achievement. Xiamen Airlines is a China Southern subsidiary that built its identity on an all-Boeing fleet, making the 100-aircraft Boeing milestone a significant operational landmark for the carrier.
