1:400 Diecast: Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-1000 B-LXP (AeroPolaris HA35K0004)

B-LXP, MSN 503, made its first flight on 25 July 2022 and was delivered to Cathay Pacific on 20 September 2022, entering commercial service four days later. The aircraft is an A350-1041, the stretched member of the A350 family, powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines — the highest-thrust civil turbofan Rolls-Royce builds. In September 2024, Cathay's entire A350-1000 fleet including B-LXP underwent an engine-component safety inspection following a fleet-wide directive.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model presents the current Cathay Pacific livery: a white fuselage with "CATHAY PACIFIC" in deep green forward of the wing. The vertical stabiliser is deep green, bearing the white brushstroke-wing logo on both faces. Engine nacelles are finished in a distinctive pale mint-green, consistent with Cathay's A350 branding. Wingtip Sharklets are confirmed, blending smoothly from the wing undersurface. Registration B-LXP is marked on the fuselage aft of the wing. Nose and main landing gear are extended.

AeroPolaris — the high-end diecast line from HYJLwings — released HA35K0004 in late 2025. The A350-1000 tooling captures the longer fuselage and enlarged wing area that set the -1000 apart from the -900. B-LXP is among the youngest airframes in Cathay's fleet at the time of release, making this edition relevant to collectors tracking the airline's current widebody mix.
