1:400 Diecast: Volaris Airbus A319-100 XA-VOI "Ingrid / Yo ❤ Toluca" (AeroClassics AC411251)

XA-VOI carries MSN 2657, first flown on 22 December 2005 (test registration D-AVYN) and delivered to Volaris on 1 March 2006 — one of the inaugural aircraft that launched the low-cost carrier's commercial operations on 13 March 2006. The A319-132 variant is powered by IAE V2524-A5 engines. The aircraft carried the individual name "Ingrid" and, from around 2011, wore the "Yo Amo Toluca" campaign livery promoting Toluca International Airport and its tax-free shopping program. XA-VOI was retired and scrapped in 2023.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model shows the "Yo ❤ Toluca" special scheme: white fuselage with a black vertical stabilizer carrying a multicolored pixelated faceted-square pattern in pink, purple, light blue, yellow, and green. Engine nacelles are entirely black with a small pixelated motif on the outer face. "volaris" in black lowercase on the forward fuselage, "Ingrid" in smaller black text below it. The mid-fuselage carries "Yo ❤ Toluca" in pink lettering with a red heart, a stylized light-blue mountain graphic beneath, and the slogan "El único aeropuerto que te paga el shuttle entre Santa Fe/DF y Toluca" in black. Registration XA-VOI and a small Mexican flag appear on the fuselage; XA-VOI is also printed on the port wing underside. Wingtip fences — not sharklets — consistent with the original A319-100 configuration.

Model Craft & Collectibility

AeroClassics AC411251 renders XA-VOI in 1:400 diecast alloy. The "Yo Amo Toluca" livery was a short-duration campaign scheme never repeated on any other Volaris airframe; combined with this being one of the carrier's founding fleet aircraft, the model documents both an inaugural era and a unique regional marketing initiative in Mexican low-cost aviation.
