N601UA is the second Boeing 767 ever built — MSN 21862, Line Number 2 — and was among United Airlines' inaugural 767-200 deliveries in 1982. A Boeing 767-222 variant, it entered revenue service on 8 September 1982 on the first commercial 767 flight in history, when United launched the type between Chicago O'Hare and Denver. The aircraft subsequently served United's domestic and transatlantic routes before eventual retirement and scrapping.

Livery & Visual Details
