1:400 Diecast: TransBrasil Boeing 767-2Q4 PT-TAB (AeroClassics AC411375)
PT-TAB, MSN 22922 (Line Number 57), type Boeing 767-2Q4, first flew 19 May 1983 as N6067B and was delivered to TransBrasil that July. The aircraft carries two GE CF6-80A turbofan engines. PT-TAB served TransBrasil until December 2001 when the airline ceased operations. It was one of the early 767s delivered to a Brazilian carrier and operated the airline's long-haul and domestic trunk routes during the 1980s and 1990s.
Livery & Visual Details
The livery is one of the most striking in Brazilian aviation history. The entire underside of the fuselage, wings (top and bottom), and horizontal stabilizers are painted vivid orange-red. The white upper fuselage carries "TRANSBRASIL" in bold black lettering below the window line, with a small Brazilian flag emblem on the forward fuselage above the title. The vertical stabilizer features the iconic rainbow stripe design on the rudder — seven vertical colour bands running red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and violet from top to bottom. "TAB" in large black letters appears on the orange-red wing upper surface. Engine nacelles are white with dark grey intake lips. The wingtips are classic unmodified raked tips with no winglets.
